SketchTravel in Costa Rica

April 9, 2010

A paradise for the kids!
San Jose and on to the west coast beaches
When our kids were young we started taking trips to Mexico, and then to Costa Rica. They always had fun at the beaches, exploring the many ecoparks, jungles, cloud forests, and volcanoes.
A bonus for us was that they got to practice their Spanish on these trips.

Visiting Grecia in the mountains where they grow organic produce and make wood furniture. Considered the cleanest town in Latin America.

We visited the west coast of Costa Rica mostly, from Dominical in the south to Tamarindo and the Nicoya Peninsula, with a few trips up to the cloud forest and into the jungles.
